On the home page, Alexa-ranked blogs are listed in order by Alexa rank (and categorized to keep autism-centered personal blogs from being buried below non-autism-centered blogs). Alexa-unranked blogs are ordered by last year posted (decreasing), then by first year posted (increasing), then by blog name.
The Actually Autistic Blogs List is also sorted alphabetically, by age of blogger, and by location. Nearly all Autistic bloggers have been contacted to request input on how they want their blogs listed. Non-responding bloggers are described in accordance with these rules.
The criteria for inclusion are identification as autistic (either professionally- or self-diagnosed) and writing about how autism affects their lives. Blog listings include the first and last year during which the blog was active. Blogs by the same author are listed together, using the name of the latest blog and the start date of the earliest one. The list can be searched using text or the Autistic blogs search engine.
